Rivers Fabric

Rivers have always been more than just water—they’re symbols of movement, change, and the journey of life itself. So many cultures see them as sources of wisdom, healing, and transformation. Fish have their own deep meanings too; in Buddhism, they represent freedom and happiness, while the Celts saw them as symbols of knowledge.

" A shaman once told me my spirit animal was a rainbow trout, which I found pretty funny at the time. But maybe they were onto something. I’ve literally just been for a swim, and it took me right back to my childhood, spending summers at the outdoor pool in my local park in the north west of England. It was absolutely freezing, but we didn’t care. It’s where my primary school best pal taught me to swim, and we’d spend entire days there, only getting out when our mums arrived with flasks of hotdogs for lunch.
